Visual Brand Identity

GRO Health Center is a nonprofit that launched in Missouri in 2020, driving impactful change in underserved communities. through education, sustainable food systems, and climate-smart initiatives.

In 2023, I redesigned their logo and established their brand identity guidelines to position GRO Health Center as an accessible and supportive organization, and strengthen their visual identity across their social media, programs, and events.

I later expanded on this work to explore how the branding could evolve to reflect potential growth opportunities, including the integration of clinical healthcare branding alongside community initiatives. This unofficial refresh envisions how GRO Health Center’s identity can adapt while staying true to its mission.

LOGO DESIGN

The logo symbolizes growth, care, and sustainability. With a heart-shaped plant and rooted support, it represents the organization’s commitment to nurturing the well-being of underserved communities while ensuring protection and growth.

HEALTHCARE AND COMMUNITY

GRO Health Center’s dual branding reflects its commitment to healthcare and community-driven initiatives. The two divisions share a cohesive color palette, differentiated by distinct color distributions to reflect their unique focuses.

Healthcare branding conveys trust and care with the tagline ‘Rooted in Care,’ while community branding inspires action through ‘Growing Change.’ Together, they form a unified identity driving meaningful impact.

COLOR AND TYPOGRAPHY

The color palette and typography create a cohesive brand identity. While colors are distributed differently to reflect the unique focus of clinical and community branding, the shared typography ensures consistency and clarity across all applications, reinforcing the unified mission.

BRAND IN ACTION

GRO Health Center’s branding is designed to adapt across healthcare and community initiatives, maintaining a balance between trust, care, and action. As it takes shape in real-world applications, each identity remains distinct while reinforcing a shared commitment to healthier communities.
